Catherine's place us very well equipped and spotlessly clean. When we stayed the weather wasn't great so we really appreciated the cosy and warm nature of the cottage. The location us great; very easy 5 minute walk into Beddgelert, lots of easy walks from the cottage, as well as easy to get to bigger walks on the mountains and ride your bike into Beddgelert Forest. Enjoy!

Where to begin? Flowers, a bottle of wine, bread and milk and sweets for the children - what a fantastic way to greet your guests!!! Our family - 2 adults and 3 little children (5, 3 and nearly 2) had a brilliant time. Warm and comfortable, with kitchen amenities to make life as easy as possible, a home from home. With 3 little ones, the washing machine and dryer were put to good use despite our relatively short stay of 4 nights. Beddgelert is a perfect base for Snowdonia... in the middle of all that there is to offer. We cannot recommend Catherine's place highly enough.....

Catherine’s place is a must visit for stopping off in Snowdonia. Beautiful, quaint cottage in the heart of the National Park, close to cosy pubs and restaurants. 15 mins away from Snowdon hike as well. Would definitely stay again, cannot recommend enough. Fireplace was also a lovely touch in the evenings. Thanks Cath!
What and idyllic home located in a beautiful village. Our two boys had a fantastic time searching for dragons In Welsh mountains. This cottage is well presented and superbly equipped. Positioned by the river running into Beddgelert it is a stones throw from some great walks, pubs and amenities. 20 mins to the beach and 20 mins to the start of the paths up to Snowdon peak. If you’re looking for an authentic Welsh cottage with a splash of style and a log burner to warm your toes after a day in the mountains I don’t think it get’s any better. We would go back tomorrow. P.S. Our dog who is cranky at the best of times also enjoyed the stay so it must be good.
